Like another commentator elsewhere in this gallery (or should that be commentor?) I find it hard to choose a favourite. This one, besides appealing to my obession with things avian, reminds me of a painting my friend Ina made in the eighties called: "Does the noise in my head disturb you." It showed a little girl the other side of a pane of leaded glass and a fly buzzing on the glass. Beautifully painted. Misha, the 4 year old who served as model, is now grown and recently a mother. Ian the artist won the Perth Art show last year for another painting. And I contemplate my ultimate mediocrity and the exquisite Northwest autumnal light. We are all scattered by a careless hand. Thank you, Patrick, for reminding me that talent and genius are real and alive in the unbrave new world.

These are so awesome Patrick. I'd love to talk about your processes. This one is my favorite, but it was had for me to choose too. Great work...N
